2020 has been a year with so many ups and downs. It has been filled with uncertainty, stress, anxiety, and change for many people. As COVID-19 came into our lives, it turned life as we know it upside down, creating challenges and leaving everyone wondering what the future would hold. During this time families and businesses have had to redefine how to function on a daily basis. Change is not always easy.
During this time, even when it has seemed dark and challenging, we got to see our families, communities, and businesses come together in support of one another. Even when the news has been at its worst, there have been many bright spots that have had a positive effect. We have seen so many animals find fosters families and forever homes. We have seen the smiles on the families of our patients when they tell us the stories of their newest additions to their family. We have seen families choose to shop locally to help struggling businesses. People find ways to reach and support each other even when they are not able to be physically close. Sharing kind words, patience, and smiling eyes makes a huge difference in the day of individuals.
We want to take time during this holiday season to say how thankful we are for all the families who entrust us with the medical care of their pets. We do not take lightly the privilege to be a part of our patients' lives. We care for our patients as if they were part of our individual families. We strive every day to provide the level of medical care and compassion we would want to be shown to our own pets. The bonds we have formed with our patients and their families last a lifetime. We also are thankful for the families who are showing understanding, patience, and compassion as we work with the challenges of curbside service and maintaining a healthy and safe workplace. We are so thankful for the smiling faces that we can see, even when people are wearing a mask to help protect our staff. We are so thankful and blessed to have the best patients and clients as part of the AHNA family. Thank you!
We are very thankful for our AHNA family. Our AHNA family includes veterinarians, client care, patient care, hospital care, exam room, and management teams who are dedicated to providing compassionate and loving medical care for our patients and their families. They are the team members who have worked selflessly and stepped up to all the challenges 2020 has brought. They show up every day and say “I will give my best for our patients, their families, and my coworkers”. They have been our foundation. We could not do what we do without our amazing teams.
